Uptown Hair Studio is situated on the highly desirable Sunshine Coast just a short 10 min drive west of Maroochydore. The Nambour Hair Studio was founded by owner Rhonda Billett on July 4th 1999 with a strong vision for personalised hair service to all its patrons.

The Uptown team also specialise in hair colour results that fit in with the Australian lifestyle. Being situated on the Sunshine Coast, the team have a strong focus and love of creating Beachy Blondes and Beachy Brunette hair colours, that are reflective of the Sunshine Coast lifestyle and are relaxed, yet full of style and sophistication for where and when it matters in your day to day life.

Uptown Hair Studio Owner , Master Hair Stylist 30 years+ hairdressing experience
Rhonda started Uptown Hair Studio in 1999, with a passion for looking after the customer. Rhonda has been hairdressing for over half her life and has vast knowledge on hair solutions.
Rhonda loves challenging hair and solving complex hair issues. Rhonda will take the time, sit with you and workshop your hair to match your lifestyle. Rhonda's passion is in hair cutting and includes razor haircuts, texture hair cuts to suit your routine and lifestyle. Rhonda is highly experienced in hair colour and has used and recommended Goldwell hair colours and solutions for over 30 years. Rhonda loves doing brunette hair colouring, with a strong focus on bronde hair, beachy brunette hair colours and dark hair dimensional hair colouring.
Rhonda also has vast editorial, photo shoot, catwalk and in salon industry experience including styling hair for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Sydney. Rhonda's up style work has graced the covers of many national bridal magazines and editorial shoots over the years, her hair styles have appeared on the stage for many live Fashions on the Field events as well as fashion parades, showing her vast experience and attention to detail when it comes to styling hair.
Rhonda has also won various business awards including Your Business Leader of the Year, Various Sunshine Coast Business Awards and various national Australian hairdressing photography competitions.

Senior Stylist 5 years+ hairdressing experience
Jessi has a passion for long hair and extra long hair colouring from foils, to balayage's, root taps, root melts, lived in hair colours, dimensional blonde hair colours and more.
Jessi also suffers personally with hair scalp issues and has a great understanding of complex hair and scalp issues. Jessi can advise on personalised solutions for anyone with scalp conditions or concerns.
Jessi has a very personal approach to hairdressing and she genuinely cares about your comfort and experience when she is taking care of you and your hair. Jessi has undergone some of the best hair colour training available in Australia and her customer service is exceptional.

Tiarna
Emerging Hair Stylist - Apprentice 2+ years experience
Tiarna is our emerging full time Hairdressing apprentice at Uptown Hair Studio. Tiarna is a fresh, fun and has developed some great foundation hairdressing skills learning from hair industry leaders. Tiarna is highly experienced in partial to full head hair foiling applications, hair toner selection and application. Tiarna also loves delivering bigger/complex hair colour makeovers with a specialty in blonde hair, root melts, balayage techniques and lived in hair colour trends. Tiarna is great also with basic ladies hair cuts, men's haircuts and clipper work including fade haircuts.

Olivia is trained in curling, styling, and over-all color, and is continually developing her skills as she progresses through her apprenticeship. She has a strong interest in lived-in colour trends and low-maintenance/high impact blondes, and is excited to keep growing and excelling in the industry.
